I’m looking for a senior-level Tableau Desktop/Server and Alteryx Designer pro who can plug into my 8 AM–4 PM CST schedule, shadow the existing analytics pipeline, then assume full ownership of it. The day-to-day work revolves around refining and extending dashboards, shifting manual data prep into automated Alteryx workflows, validating every dataset that lands in Tableau, and capturing clear documentation so nothing gets lost when requirements change. You’ll start by walking through the current workbooks, optimising calculations, improving visual storytelling, and—when gaps appear—building new dashboards that speak to our business needs. On the Alteryx side, I expect robust, well-commented workflows that pull from multiple sources, perform integrity checks, and publish straight to Tableau Server on a dependable schedule. All of this must be documented in plain language so future iterations are painless. Success looks like this: • Dashboards load quickly, follow our visual standards, and always reflect fresh data. • Alteryx workflows run unattended through Scheduler, with built-in alerts for any failures. • Data validation catches anomalies before stakeholders ever see them. • A living document explains each workflow, data source, and workbook for easy hand-off.
