Election Dashboards: Tableau and Power BI

Job ID: 40504709

Budget: $10 – $250 USD

I want online, realtime data aggregation and results collation through compelling, interactive dashboards built in both Tableau and Power BI. The goal is to give stakeholders a single view from which they can explore voter turnout, final results, demographic splits and any correlations hidden inside the numbers—essentially the full story of the election, not just isolated charts.

You will start from the same Google sheet files for both tools, so consistency between the two platforms is important. The dashboards should let users drill from the national picture down to individual regions or precincts, filter by party or candidate, and slice results by age, gender, income or any other demographic field present in the file. Visual clarity and quick performance are a must; decision-makers need to spot trends instantly and export insights for presentations without extra clean-up work.

Deliverables
- A live, realtime visualizer for the election.
• One packaged Tableau workbook (.twbx) with all data connections set to the provided Google sheet as eell
• One Power BI report (.pbix) mirroring the Tableau views
• Any calculated fields, measures or scripts used to transform the raw data, documented in a short read-me
• A brief video or PDF walkthrough so future users understand how to navigate filters and views

I will show the sheet so you can confirm field mapping before building out the full visual layer. Let me know if you need clarification on column definitions or want to propose advanced features such as forecasting, anomaly detection or Geo-spatial heatmaps; I’m open to enhancements that stay within this scope and keep the interface intuitive.
