Build Online Dynamic Charting and Analysis System within Tableau
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
Creation of online browser-based, client self-serve charting and analysis tool, presenting data analysis in a series of pages/tabs, containing charts, tables, and text:
• Design pages, layout, and contents, liaising with Juran, to present a proposed final product to management.
• Organise data as required (most/all of which will have been completed in Phase 1).
• Build background requirements to support charts, tables, and dynamic, auto-filled text within each page:
o Create calculations required for all chart combinations if not already done in Phase 1.
o Create chart and table worksheets as-per design.
o Create calculations required for auto-filled text sections. This will be things such as number deltas when compared to historical values, percentage comparisons to averages, quartiles etc., that may lie alongside charts and tables.
• Create dashboard pages, containing placeholders for charts, tables, and text combinations, repeating for each page as per design requirements. This could be anywhere from c.6-20+ pages of analysis, with options to swap out KPIs etc. on each page.
• Create functionality to allow clients to change charts, tables etc. on-the-fly within each page/section, depending on their needs e.g., dropdowns to change KPI, divisors, timeframes, peer groups etc., allowing clients to choose their own tailored analysis according to their needs.
• Build in ability for us to change layouts, contents and further develop the system.
• Test system in-house.
• Roll out online hosting of tool on Tableau cloud, with logins for selected clients for ‘live’ use.
• Impart knowledge to staff during each stage of the process, showing how everything has been created, methodology, thinking behind it, documenting any procedures for development etc.
