Windows VPS Management Contract
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need an experienced administrator to take full responsibility for a Windows-based VPS that hosts my live projects. Your role is to keep the server healthy, secure, and running smoothly under an ongoing contract. Please be fully comfortable with Windows Server environments, remote desktop administration, PowerShell, firewall configuration, backup planning, and disaster-recovery best practices.
I expect you to:
• Proactively handle updates, patches, and routine maintenance without disrupting uptime.
• Watch key performance metrics, resolve bottlenecks, and react fast to any alerts.
• Document each action you take so I always have a clear history of changes.
When you apply, outline the monitoring tools you prefer (e.g., PRTG, Zabbix, or native Windows utilities) and how you plan to structure notifications and reports. Also let me know your typical response times for critical incidents and any SLAs you can commit to.
The contract will begin with a brief hand-over session where you audit the current setup and propose a maintenance schedule. After that, we’ll agree on the regular reporting cadence and move straight into active management.
