Windows 7 Migration to New Laptop
Budget: $50 – $150 USD
I already created a full system image of my current Windows 7 machine and will soon unbox a brand-new laptop. I’d like you to guide me—or, if possible, remotely handle—the entire move so the new hardware boots straight into my familiar Windows 7 environment with all files and programs intact.
Here’s where I’m at:
• I can supply every required driver for the new device.
• I do need help getting the laptop properly prepared, including any BIOS/UEFI tweaks, disk partitioning and activation steps so the restored image runs error-free.
• I also want my data and installed applications carried over; I’m not looking for a clean install.
By the end of the job I expect the new laptop to start up with Windows 7 fully functional, activated, and stable, with all personal files, settings and software behaving exactly as on the old machine. If specialised tools such as Sysprep, DISM, Clonezilla, Acronis or similar are best for imaging or driver injection, that’s perfectly fine—please bring whichever method you’re comfortable with.
