WAN Software Installation & Setup
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need an experienced engineer to take WAN—or an equally capable open-source alternative—and install it from end to end on my server. You are free to pull the code directly from GitHub or choose a more streamlined source if that speeds things up; what matters is that the final environment is clean, stable, and reproducible.
Here’s what the engagement looks like:
• You assess my current server specs (Linux, Windows, or macOS—happy to adapt) and confirm all prerequisites.
• You handle every step of the build: dependency fetching, compilation, configuration, and service hardening.
• Once running, you verify that the application launches on boot, logs correctly, and exposes the expected web or CLI interface.
• You finish by handing over concise setup notes and basic usage instructions so I can maintain or extend the install without guesswork.
SSH or remote desktop access will be provided, along with any additional privileges you need. Let me know which OS you prefer to work with, any specific ports you’ll require, and an estimated timeline.
