Ubuntu Desktop Installation Help
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I bought a GMK Tec Evo-X2 with default Windows 11 Pro and I want to replace Windows entirely and move my desktop over to Ubuntu. The machine is already backed up, so I want a clean install with no dual-boot setup—Ubuntu will be the only OS on the drive.
I already tried everything but its not working as I want. What I need from you: Done for me or a clear, step-by-step guidance (or a remote session, if that’s easier) on creating the bootable USB, configuring BIOS/UEFI, and running the installer.
If you’re comfortable working with the standard Ubuntu installer, GParted, and common UEFI quirks on consumer desktops, this should be straightforward. Once the install is finished and the system reboots smoothly into Ubuntu, we’re done.
