System Engineer (Freelancer) – Onsite (1-Day Assignment)

I need a reliable System Engineer who can be on the client’s premises for a single day to put new infrastructure into service while my remote team handles configuration. Your mission is hands-on:
• Rack, cable and power-up all hardware—servers, switches, firewalls, desktops and printers—exactly as per the wiring plan we provide.
• Attach console or management leads so the remote team can reach every device immediately.
• Run simple functional checks on the desktops, laptops and printers, confirm network connectivity and print a test page.
• At day’s end, give the remote engineers a concise hand-over call or chat message and note anything that still needs attention.
Acceptance criteria
– Every device is physically installed, powered and reachable over the network.
– Desktop, laptop and printer tests pass without errors.
– I receive a brief written summary outlining work performed and any issues spotted.
