Pune On-Site System Updates

I need a reliable engineer who can travel to my client’s office in Pune once a week to keep their servers and desktops fully patched. The role is strictly technical maintenance: every visit you will review the latest releases, schedule any required downtime with the on-prem team, apply software updates and security patches on both Windows and Linux machines, then verify services are back online.

Typical stack you’ll touch includes Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019, Ubuntu LTS and a few CentOS boxes. Experience with Windows Update Services, PowerShell, apt/yum and basic bash scripting will help you move quickly, but I’m happy if you have an equivalent toolset that achieves the same result.

Deliverables each visit
• All pending OS patches applied successfully
• Post-update health check completed (services, network reachability, disk usage)
• Concise report emailed the same day summarising actions taken, versions applied and any follow-up needed

Plan on spending two to three hours onsite; the rest of the week is yours. Because the client is security-sensitive, remote access is limited—hands-on presence is mandatory. If this schedule works for you and you’re confident handling both Windows and Linux updates, let’s talk.
