Oracle 11g Setup on RHEL
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need someone to bring my Oracle 11g server online and make sure it starts cleanly every time my Red Hat Enterprise Linux machine boots. The software is already on the box; what’s missing is a reliable, Standard installation-style configuration that finishes the setup, starts the database, confirms the listener is running, and registers the instance correctly with systemd so it survives reboots.
You’ll connect over SSH, verify the existing Oracle home, adjust any kernel parameters or environment variables that were skipped, and walk me through the key commands so I understand how to start and stop the service myself. A simple set of notes or a shell script showing the steps you performed is all I need as a final hand-off.
