Job Title: Systems & Network Engineer: Fix Latency in Hybrid POS Environment (MikroTik/Windows)
Project Overview
We operate a high-volume restaurant using restaurante.pe software. Our infrastructure is high-spec, but we are experiencing significant system-wide slowdowns and latency specifically during peak hours. We need an expert to identify the bottleneck (Network vs. OS vs. Database) and implement a permanent fix.

Our Technical Stack
Networking: Fiber 400 MB / MikroTik CCR1036 Router / Managed WiFi Antennas.

Server/Hub: Windows 11 PC acting as the Master POS & Offline Database Hub for 8+ Android Tablets.

Expansion: Two additional Windows 11 PCs (POS #2 & POS #3) currently being integrated as secondary hubs.

Peripherals: 5 Thermal Network Printers (2Connect & others).

The Problem
During "Rush" periods (high order volume), the communication between tablets and the Hub PC lags.

The Main PC does not show high CPU, RAM, or Disk usage.

Ping times often spike or packets drop during high traffic.

The system feels "choked," suggesting a protocol limit or network queuing issue rather than a hardware failure.

Key Objectives
MikroTik Optimization: Configure QoS (Quality of Service) and Mangle rules to prioritize POS traffic over all other network data.

Windows OS Hardening: Optimize the Windows 11 "Hub" PCs to handle high concurrent TCP/IP connections (bypassing standard desktop limitations).

Network Audit: Check for IP conflicts, DHCP lease times, and WiFi channel interference (2.4GHz vs 5GHz).

Stability Testing: Monitor the system during a "live" peak period to ensure the fix holds under pressure.
