OVH CentOS 7 Rescue Repair
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My CentOS 7 server hosted at OVH refuses to boot after I swapped in new hardware. The remote console stops before the kernel finishes loading, cPanel never comes up, and normal safe-mode attempts have not helped. I have already placed the machine in OVH’s rescue-pro environment and can provide root SSH access as well as the latest KVM screen captures.
I need you to:
• Mount the disks from rescue mode, identify and correct whatever is preventing the system from completing the boot sequence (GRUB, initramfs, driver mismatch, fstab error, etc.).
• Return the system to a clean, fully bootable state with all cPanel accounts and services intact.
• Document the commands you ran so I can follow the logic or repeat the procedure later.
I will consider the job done when the server boots normally from its own disks, all cPanel services respond, and the step-by-step notes you used are shared back with me.
