Kali Linux Security Research Operator
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
My daily security-research workflow runs entirely on Kali Linux, and I need an experienced operator who can keep that environment lean, up-to-date, and rock-solid. The core image already contains the usual penetration-testing utilities; what I’m missing is a specialist who can streamline system administration, harden the OS, and fine-tune network-level settings so new research tooling can be spun up quickly without breaking anything that is already in place.
Here is what I want to hand over:
• A refreshed, fully-patched Kali build––kernel, repositories, and custom packages all aligned with current security best practices.
• Automated scripts (Bash or Python preferred) that handle routine maintenance and dependency checks so I can focus on actual research.
• Clean documentation of every change: commands executed, config files touched, and a rollback plan.
Success for me means I can boot the machine, pull the latest tools, launch a test, and capture results without chasing dependency errors or permission issues. If you are comfortable working exclusively in Kali but can borrow ideas from other Debian-based workflows, we should be a great fit. Feel free to outline any additional hardening steps or monitoring utilities you think would complement a security-research setup.
