Install Mastodon on Linux Server
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,200 INR
I need a seasoned sysadmin to spin up a fresh Mastodon instance on my Linux server. The OS is already running and I’ll provide SSH credentials as soon as we kick off. My domain is live, the SSL certificate is valid, so the job is all about getting Mastodon and its stack (PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, Nginx or equivalent) running smoothly behind that certificate.
Here’s what I expect before we wrap up:
• Mastodon reachable at my domain over HTTPS with no mixed-content warnings
• All background services running as systemd units so they survive reboots
• A brief text file outlining the commands you used, plus how I can update Mastodon or rotate the SSL when needed
If you’ve deployed Mastodon before and can handle everything over standard SSH (no root but sudo is available), this should be straightforward. Let me know your timeline and any questions and we can get started right away.
Price range is fixed and there are similar other installation to be done later
