Carbonio CE Email Migration Specialist Needed
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
We are looking for an experienced system administrator with proven expertise in Carbonio CE email migrations.
Our organization previously completed a large-scale migration to Carbonio CE. The migration was approximately 90% successful; however, a number of mailboxes and migration instances failed or were only partially completed.
After performing a health check, we are now ready to complete the final migration and perform the production cutover.
Scope of Work:
Review the current Carbonio CE environment.
Review previous migration logs and identify failed or incomplete mailbox migrations.
Review the existing health check and optimization recommendations.
Validate system health and confirm readiness for final migration.
Complete migration of remaining mailboxes, emails, calendars, contacts, and other relevant data.
Resolve migration errors and data inconsistencies.
Perform final synchronization before cutover.
Assist with DNS/mail flow transition if required.
Validate successful migration completion and provide post-migration verification.
Document work performed and any outstanding recommendations.
The project will be considered complete when the following deliverables have been provided:
Summary of the current environment.
Identification of failed or incomplete migrations.
Action plan for completing the migration.
Successful migration of all remaining mailboxes and data identified within project scope.
Resolution of migration failures where technically feasible.
Confirmation that mailboxes, email data, calendars, contacts, and other migrated items have been successfully transferred.
Assistance with final synchronization and production cutover.
Verification of mail flow and system functionality after cutover.
Summary of work performed.
Configuration changes made.
Recommendations for ongoing maintenance and optimization.
Required Experience:
Demonstrated experience with Carbonio CE administration and migrations.
Experience migrating from Exchange, Zimbra, Microsoft 365, IMAP, or similar platforms.
Strong Linux system administration skills.
Experience troubleshooting mailbox migration failures and synchronization issues.
Ability to work remotely and communicate progress clearly.
