L2 connection to Mikrotik RouterOS from Linux VM on Hyper-V through virtualSwitch
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
We need to configure bridge between Linux VM virtualbridge and physical Mikrotik Router interface through Hyper-V virtualSwitch. Linux, which port is needed to get bridged with the router is a Hyper-V VM.
Currently, packets from Linux can't leave the Linux VM.
When IP is configured on Linux virtual interface, there is ping to the router but there is no L2 broadcast between Linux VM and Mikrotik. We need this L2 connection between Linux VM and Mikrotik.
