RamNode VPS Configuration Fix -- 3
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
After moving my sites from RamNode’s cloud hosting to a new VPS, several core services stopped working. WHM and cPanel are installed and accessible, yet there were issues with the site. I changed the mailservers back to cloud hosting.
What I need right now is a full review and clean configuration of the server so every component—mail server, FTP service, and DNS including nameserver glue—operates smoothly. Please log in, audit each service, adjust the settings, and document any permanent changes you make.
Before I repoint the real nameservers, show me a working preview link or temporary hostname that proves the sites load correctly and email delivers both ways. Please also help me verify the glue records through WHOIS, so include that in your checklist.
Deliverable for project completion:
• A functioning VPS with mail, FTP, and DNS all passing basic tests and a temporary URL that demonstrates the site works before putting it live.
