We have a requirement to review a series of zone files that are problematic inside an ISP. The zones have not been created correctly by the admin team. Examples of errors include:
- Wrong syntax
- Incorrect use of wild cards
- Creation of e.164 file zones which are "too big" to be easily managed
- Dependency on optional features defined inside the RFC's which no implemented in DNS products, like Unbound, IP Works etc
Candidate must have:
#1. Reasonable working knowledge of relevant RFC's for Zone files;
#2. Experience of 3GPPnetwork.org root which is used by mobile phone ISP's
#3. Some knowledge about Gp network zone file systems as defined in the 3GPP standards https://www.gsma.com/newsroom/wp-content/uploads/IR.88-v18.0.pdf
