Badge & Icon Design Brief for Travel App (Freelancer.com Job Post)

Project Overview

I’m looking for a skilled icon designer or vector illustrator to create a cohesive set of:

• 55 achievement-style badge icons, and
• 9 simple app icons (used for navigation and feature sections inside the app)


These icons will be used inside my travel app, Ten Miles Ahead, to reward user progress and visually represent core app sections.

All icons must be delivered as clean, scalable SVGs that remain crisp and recognizable at small mobile sizes.

Style Requirements

The icons should follow a friendly, modern, illustrative style:

• Illustrative–isometric look (soft depth, not 3D realism)
• Rounded, approachable shapes
• Consistent stroke weight across all icons
• Consistent color palette (brand colors will be provided)
• No embedded text inside the icons
• Clear silhouette that reads instantly at small sizes

Technical Requirements

These details are essential:

• SVG format only — pure vector paths
• 512×512 artboard for each icon
• Must scale down cleanly to 24–32px without losing clarity
• No tiny decorative elements that disappear when scaled
• No raster effects, no pixel-based shading
• Uniform corner radius and stroke thickness
• Icons must be fully editable (Figma or Illustrator source file required)

Icon Types Needed

1. Achievement Badges (55 total)

These represent user milestones such as:

• Planning achievements
• Destination achievements
• Engagement streaks
• User milestones


I will provide the full list of 55 badge titles and descriptions as well as the categories once I select a freelancer.

2. App Section Icons (9 total)

These are not badges — they are simple, clean icons used for app navigation and feature sections.
For example First Milestones, Distance and Mileage

These should be visually simpler than the badges but still stylistically consistent.

• 9 app section icons (SVG, 512×512)
• Figma or Illustrator source file
