Glazing CAD Advisor for SVG Editor
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m building a Next-js SVG platform whose heart is a Frame Editor used by glazing and aluminium façade contractors. Before this tool goes live I want a seasoned glazing-industry professional on board to keep us aligned with real-world shop-floor practice and AutoCAD workflows.
Here’s where I need your help. First, walk me through the current industry standards—glass types, aluminium extrusion tolerances, hardware clearances, test reports—so that every rule we bake into the editor reflects how projects are actually bid, engineered and installed. Next, review the interface and drawing logic already in place; I want your eye on how users create fresh layouts, tweak existing ones and swap glazing panels, aluminium frames or hardware components without breaking constructability. Finally, collaborate with my dev team on the export pipeline: our SVG data must translate cleanly into DWG/DXF, preserving layers, blocks and dimensional accuracy so contractors can pick it up in AutoCAD and move straight into fabrication drawings.
You’ll be free to annotate screenshots, jump on calls or push change requests via GitHub—whatever makes feedback efficient. When we finish, I expect a concise standards checklist, annotated design review and a verified mapping guide for the AutoCAD export routine.
