SvelteKit Website Development
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
Summary
Job Title: Senior SvelteKit 5 Developer (Runes, Tailwind) for Multi-Lingual Web Apps
Project Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled senior frontend developer to build two sophisticated web applications: a public-facing, multi-tenant site (webx) and a complex back-office admin panel (admin). Both are built on SvelteKit with Svelte 5 Runes.
We have a detailed technical plan and a design system repo (dsx-design) ready to go. You will be responsible for creating a user interface that is exceptionally fast, accessible, and works flawlessly in both English (LTR) and Arabic (RTL). This is a fantastic opportunity for a Svelte expert who loves server-side rendering, modern state management, and building beautiful, functional UIs.
Your Role:
Develop responsive and performant UI components for our public and admin apps using Svelte 5 (Runes) and TypeScript.
Implement server-side logic in SvelteKit using page.server.ts and layout.server.ts for data loading and server actions.
Build complex, data-rich interfaces like tables (TanStack Table), charts (d3), and forms (Superforms, Zod).
Ensure seamless internationalization (i18n) and right-to-left (RTL) support across the entire application.
Collaborate with the UI/UX designer to implement the design system using Tailwind CSS and shadcn-svelte.
Integrate with our FastAPI backend, handling JWT-based authentication and authorization within SvelteKit's hooks.
Required Skills & Experience:
Deep expertise in Svelte and SvelteKit, with demonstrable experience using Svelte 5 Runes.
Advanced proficiency in TypeScript.
Mastery of modern CSS, particularly Tailwind CSS.
Strong experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and server actions.
Proven experience building applications with RTL support (Arabic is a major plus).
Familiarity with frontend testing using Vitest and Playwright.
Bonus Points:
Experience with Storybook for component development.
Knowledge of data visualization libraries like d3.js.
Familiarity with Svelte form libraries like Superforms.
To Apply:
Please start your proposal with Svelte Runes and share a link to a live SvelteKit project you've built, highlighting any complex or data-intensive features.
If frontend is Svelte or backend Go based website url shared should be highly considered.
