Task Description:
Write a survey paper that summarizes and classifies the state-of-the art research studies in certain topic(s) within the field of cryptography. This aims to integrate the different research attempts and increase the understanding of the research works in the field.
Important Issues to be considered:
The survey paper should present recent research trends in topic(s) related to
the field of cryptography. A critical assessment for the works in the literature should be performed. In particular, for each surveyed paper you need to mention strengths, areas for improvement, and your own conclusion(s) about the work. This helps in developing a good knowledge and perspective on the area of research, and enables to evaluate current research trends.
Instructions:
The paper should provide the reader with a comprehensive view of existing research works relevant to the selected topic.
Provide a critical assessment of the research work that has been done.
Include a discussion on future research directions
The survey should cover at least 10 research articles on a particular topic in the field of cryptography.
The length of the survey paper is 6 – 10 pages.
Everything you write has to be in your own words.
Other authors must be correctly acknowledged. You must use correct citations for any ideas and research works discussed in your survey.
In order to obtain good articles, search for well-recognized digital libraries,such as ACM, IEEE, Web of Science, … etc.
You need to survey recent research articles (published on 2016 andbeyond).
Article Structure:

2. Abstract (1 point)
Write a concise description of the surveyed research approaches. This should include classifications of research works, challenges, assessment results, conclusion(s) and future trends. The abstract should be in 250 - 400 words.
3. Introduction (2 points)
Write about the significance of the research topic(s). You need also to summarize the surveyed research works, and illustrate their classifications/trends.
4. Background (2 points)
Introduce the reader with the most important knowledge, concepts, and techniques related to your research topic(s).
5. Body of paper (4 points)
This section may vary from one survey article to another. It should classify and organize the surveyed research works, and discuss each one of them. You need to analyse and discuss each research, and illustrate strengths and areas for improvement.
Furthermore, identify some leading research works/products and unresolved research problems. Future research directions should be highlighted as well.
6. Conclusion/Future Work (2 points)
Write a brief summary about the conclusions of your survey article. This section should not exceed 500 words.
7. References (1 point)
List the citations of all references used in the survey article. You need to use a unified citation style for all references.
