paper in the academic tradition, with specific word count (max.
8,000 +/- 10%). In addition, the students should prepare a

• Choose a research topic that captivates the interest of
everyone in the group.
• Each student should choose a unique research question and
objectives related to the chosen topic. While adhering to the
assignment structure, collaborate closely with their group
members. Ensure that the results collectively address the
research questions.
• The group can share the same review and methodology.
Overview:
Students should draw on content generated by their research group
throughout the module (e.g. literature review, conceptual model,
research method, data collection tool), however the student needs
to create a specific focus on his / her individual research
question throughout the paper.
Objectives:
To develop skills in corporate management relying on research
To gain experience in conducting a research study
To communicate research findings in a clear and concise manner,
assisting organizations in identifying problems and adopting the
appropriate managerial implications.
Requirements:
The research paper must give insights into the following topic
points:
1. Purpose of your research (basic / applied research)
2. Your actual research topic
3. Your actual research question(s)
4. The literature you included into your literature review
5. A summative literature review
6. Your conceptual model and hypotheses
7. Your chosen research method + well-reasoned justification of
your choice
8. The data collection tool that you chose and created + a well-
reasoned justification of the choices you made
9. A comprehensive plan for data collection and data analysis,
including a well-reasoned justification and explanation of your
a) sampling approach, b) data collection project plan and c)
appropriate data analysis tools; alternatively, a
documentation of actually conducted data collection (small
sample size), data analysis (using appropriate tools for data
analysis) and hypothesis testing / discussion.

Please note that students who engage in actual data collection,
analysis and discussion will get easier higher grades for the
research paper. In case that students aim for creating publishable
papers, additional support from the UE teaching staff can be

The introduction chapter should clearly highlight the research
topic, background, rationale, problem statement, research

The literature review chapter should clearly highlight the past
research on the research topic to help you develop a
conceptual model for your research.
• Section 3. Methodology chapter.
The methodology chapter should clearly highlight the
research approach and the research method that is relevant
for answering your research questions. It should contain a
comprehensive plan for data collection and data analysis.

Detailed explanation / discussion of sampling, data collection

your own research from the internet to prepare the mini research
paper.

should be an original piece of work and ensure that you do not
plagiaries other’s work.
