EU Supplier Research Specialist Needed

Job Description – Supplier Research Specialist (EU Market Only)

We are looking for an experienced freelancer who can help us identify and research relevant suppliers in the EU market.
This role focuses on finding high-quality, reputable suppliers suitable for long-term cooperation, including those who can provide product feeds (XML, CSV, API) for e-commerce integration.

What we are looking for

We need a freelancer who will:

1. Search for suppliers across the EU

The search must be limited strictly to EU-based companies (European Union only).

No suppliers from Asia, USA, UK, Turkey or other non-EU regions.

The freelancer must locate companies that sell relevant B2B assortment for e-commerce.

2. Identify suitable types of suppliers

We are NOT looking for small online shops or non-professional sellers.
We need primarily:

Distributors
Authorized wholesalers
A-brand distributors
Large established retailers with B2B programs
Companies with existing product feeds (XML / CSV / API)
Stable, long-term market players

These companies are expected to have:

stable operations,
solid product assortment,
professional logistics,
clear commercial terms,
reliable data and feeds.

What we DO NOT want

Please DO NOT include the following types of suppliers:

Clothing suppliers
Cosmetics or beauty product suppliers
Mobile phones / smartphones resellers
Drop-shippers only
Importers of their own private-label products
Non-EU sellers
Random exporters / import-export trading companies
Small online shops without B2B programs

We are not interested in private-label brands, unknown foreign importers, or low-quality marketplaces.

Industry focus

We are looking for suppliers primarily in categories such as:

electronics & appliances (except mobile phones)
home & garden
power tools, DIY
gaming
hobby & outdoor
household items
small domestic appliances
…and other general consumer product categories that fit established EU-based distributors.

Ideal freelancer

You are a good fit if you:

have experience in supplier sourcing or B2B research,

understand European distribution networks,

know how to identify reputable companies,

can distinguish real distributors from import-export companies,

are accurate, structured, and reliable in your research.

The aim is to build a database of trusted EU suppliers suitable for onboarding into our internal Supplier & Feed Evaluation system.
