Product Sourcing – China Storage Container

PROJECT OVERVIEW:
We are launching a premium 5-piece china/dinnerware storage system for Amazon US. We are looking for an experienced operator to manage end-to-end sourcing, negotiation, production, quality control, and shipment to Amazon FBA (USA)
SCOPE OF WORK:
1. SUPPLIER SOURCING & SHORTLISTING
Identify 5–7 qualified manufacturers (China/Vietnam/India)
Prefer suppliers experienced in textile + structured storage products
Validate supplier credibility (certifications, production capability)
2. RFQ & COST NEGOTIATION
Share product specs/tech pack with suppliers
Negotiate target cost: $6–7 per 5-piece set
Optimize for cost vs quality (no overengineering)
3. SAMPLING & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Manage sample development (2–3 iterations if required)
Ensure:
Reinforced structure
High-quality divider system
Correct sizing for US dinnerware
Coordinate feedback and improvements
4. QUALITY CONTROL
Define QC checklist
Arrange pre-shipment inspection
Ensure consistency with approved sample
5. PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT
Oversee timelines and production progress
Ensure deadlines are met
Manage communication with supplier
6. LOGISTICS & SHIPPING
Coordinate freight (air/sea as required)
Optimize shipping cost and timeline
Ensure Amazon FBA compliance (labeling, carton specs)
7. DELIVERY TO USA (AMAZON FBA)
Manage full shipment from factory to Amazon warehouse
Ensure smooth customs clearance and delivery

Final negotiated cost breakdown
Approved production sample
QC report
Shipping plan (cost + timeline)
Successful delivery to Amazon FBA
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience in sourcing + shipping for Amazon FBA
Strong supplier negotiation skills
Experience with textile/home storage products preferred
Understanding of Amazon FBA requirements
Ability to manage end-to-end execution independently
