Amazon Home Goods Supplier Research
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I run a small-batch Amazon store that focuses on unique, high-quality home goods, and I’m ready to expand my catalogue with reliable Asian suppliers who can handle up to about 100 units per SKU to start. The job centres on thorough supplier research rather than bulk negotiation: I need names I can trust, not massive factories aimed at giant volumes.
The work involves combing platforms such as Alibaba, Global Sources, Made-in-China, and any reputable trade directories or networks you already know, then short-listing suppliers that meet Amazon’s compliance requirements (product safety, labelling, and packaging standards). Email or chat verification with each candidate is important so we know they will actually reply and can communicate in reasonable English.
Deliverables
• A spreadsheet (Excel or Google Sheets) listing at least 10 qualified suppliers for each requested product style or material, with columns for company name, website/Alibaba link, primary contact person, WhatsApp/WeChat/Skype, quoted price per unit at 100-piece order size, sample cost, lead time, MOQ, shipping terms (FOB/CIF/DDP), and any available certifications (e.g., CE, RoHS, SGS).
• A brief summary document highlighting the top three recommendations and why they stand out (pricing, responsiveness, certifications, or unique design capabilities).
• Screenshots or PDFs of the initial chat/email threads confirming the supplier is open to small-scale orders.
Acceptance criteria
1. All suppliers must be located in Asia and willing to ship internationally.
2. Quoted prices must be current (within the past two weeks) and clearly show Incoterms.
3. Contact details must be tested and accurate—no bounced emails, unanswered calls, or generic “sales@” only listings.
4. Each entry must include at least one product photo or catalogue link suitable for Amazon FBA.
Once I receive and verify the spreadsheet, I’ll release the milestone and discuss follow-up work for sample testing and negotiation. Clear, organised, and verifiable data is what will make this project a success.
