Project Brief: Women's Health Services Directory Website
Project Overview
We are developing a website that helps users find and connect with women's health service providers.
The platform will provide a searchable directory of services and allow users to access provider information through a simple and intuitive interface.
We are currently building a prototype and are seeking a freelancer to help us bring the prototype to a working state.
Current Status
The project currently includes:
• a prototype website displaying a small number of service providers
• approximately 10 provider records already collected and entered
• a list of URLs containing details for additional providers
• a Supabase database used to store provider information
• a target of approximately 50 service providers for the prototype.
Scope of Work
The successful freelancer will assist with two core tasks.
1. Data Collection and Import
Using a list of provider URLs supplied by us:
• scrape relevant service provider information from each website
• structure the data consistently
• clean and validate the information
• import the data into our existing Supabase database
• ensure all records are accurately mapped to the database schema.
2. Prototype Deployment
Deploy the existing prototype website so it is publicly accessible.
This includes:
• configuring the hosting environment
• connecting the application to Supabase
• resolving any deployment issues
• confirming that provider records display correctly after deployment.
Deliverables
The completed project should include:
• approximately 50 service provider records populated in Supabase
• a deployed and functioning prototype website
• documented deployment steps
• confirmation that the website is successfully connected to the database.
Required Skills
We are looking for a freelancer with experience in:
• web scraping and data extraction
• Supabase (or equivalent database)
• modern web frameworks
• website deployment and hosting
• data cleaning and validation.
