Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Subtitle Acquisition Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring subtitles for our movie streaming app, ensuring that our customers have a seamless and enjoyable viewing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Find subtitles for movies from the internet
- Ensure that all subtitles are accurate, error-free and synced with the movie's audio. You will be trained on tools for subtitle correction.
- Convert subtitles in different languages using automated translation tools
- Coordinate with the content team to ensure that movies in our catalog are properly subtitled
- Monitor and troubleshoot subtitle issues, and work with the development team to resolve them
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
Qualifications:
- Good spoken and written English skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with subtitling software is a plus
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
This is a remote job with flexible timings. Compensation is on a per movie title basis with scope for continued work.
