I need a sharp-eared, native Spanish linguist to translate and time subtitles for a series of English-language videos. The footage ranges from short clips to feature-length pieces, so workload will vary week to week.
Here’s what I’m after: clear, idiomatic Spanish that respects cultural nuance, timed to the existing English cues or, if you prefer, retimed from scratch so dialogue and on-screen text feel perfectly in sync. I usually work with .srt or .vtt files at 24 fps, but if you’re more comfortable with another standard subtitle format, just let me know before we begin.
Deliverables per video
• A fully translated subtitle file with accurate in/out timecodes
• All lines proof-read for spelling, punctuation, and reading speed
• Same file name as the source clip for hassle-free hand-off
