Saw a new design for stair way online . My wife is welder fitter instructor with several factories fab shops equipment at her disposal . She built the stairway following all rules laws ,templated constructed out of slightly heavier material . The distance between balusters is templated quarter inch less the maximum of 4 inches between. The height is 2 inches higher then minimum. We over killed the 250 lbs top strength with regards to leg screws we used The house inspector loved stairs but then asked for the stamp . Can provide pictures measurements anything needed . There might also be and easier way as the railing itself is on the opposite side of stairway . This is built as more of a see through wall. Can you help . City guy said he would take any engineers stamp provided it gave sheer strength of the bolts . No drawings needed
