I require a structural engineer for pool shade sails.
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I am installing shade sails over our pool and require engineering drawings for Shire / Council approval.
The shade sail will be approximately 8 meters x 6 meters in size and will be mounted to four anchor points / posts. The shade sail will be removable via small hand winches which will be fixed to two of the shade posts. The intent is to remove the shade sail during cyclones.
Two of the anchor points will come off 2 x 100 mm x 100 mm x 5 mm structural steel which will be concreted into the garden bed using 1 cubic meter of cement as per Shire regulations. The other two anchor points will be welded to the existing 75 mm x 75 mm x 4 mm structural steel patio posts (refer to photographs attached)
