I need a structural engineer to certify my cabin designs
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 AUD
I have a website that sells step-by-step plans for cabins and I need an engineer to make up a structural engineering plan based off my designs and also make modifications where they think it is best to do so. Then I need a design certificate (form 15) done for each cabin.
I want the option to have brick piers or steel posts (all this info is shown in my plans). Certification would be for the above ground structure only and people would have to get their soil tested independently as that is site specific information.
I have floor plans, elevations, sectional cuts and a step by step construction guide as a pdf that I can send through for you to see how everything is designed. Also a CAD file if you need that too for each cabin.
The plans can be purchased by people in any country but this all needs to be based off Australian Standards, I have 4 'tiny' sized cabins that are all around 20m2 that I want done ASAP and then another 4 'medium' sized cabins that are about 60 - 70m2 that I'll want engineering done on in a few months. Later on there will be 'large' sized cabins and then many more cabin designs in the future so I'm looking to set up a good relationship with an engineer and work with them a lot in the future. I'm also planning a physical holiday park in QLD, Australia, about 1hr - 1.5hrs west of Brisbane CBD so a local engineer would be preferred and I would be happy to give you a lot of publicity for being the engineer who has certified the designs in the future and it seems like it will get a bit of attention because the cabin designs for the holiday park are really quite innovative and different to anything you would have seen before (the plans that I'm getting the engineering done on now though are more basic because they are for people to buy for my Cabin Plans business which is separate to the physical holiday park that is being planned)
To sum up, I currently need a quote for a structural engineering plan and design certificate for the 4 cabins that are attached (all are around 20m2 in size). There would be lots more work in the future too, so I am looking to find an engineer who is interested in a project like this and is wanting to work together a lot more in the future.
