I need a structural engineer.
Budget: $750 – $1,500 CAD
Hi, I would like to do structural work on the upper level of a townhouse. On the upper level there is a loft with a small opening to access the attic which has a sloped roof and no trusses, totally open. I need structural drawings for:
1. Putting in a 36" door between the loft and the attic. (I'm not sure but this wall might be a concrete wall.)
2. Cutting out an opening in the sloped roof for a large wall of doors/windows.
3. Adding a large deck outside. (Three levels above the ground level.)
I need:
1. Drawings that meet the bylaw requirements for the city of Vaughan/Thornhill.
2. Approval from the City/Condo Corp.

I have the survey of the property and sketches from the builder showing the room dimensions.
