Undergrad Building Thesis Guidance

Job ID: 40331785

Budget: $15 – $25 AUD

I am in the early stages of my undergraduate thesis in Civil Engineering with a clear emphasis on reinforced concrete durability. I would like an experienced structural professional who can provide assitance and valuable guidance—from shaping a focused research question, selecting an appropriate analytical approach, and interpreting results, to polishing the final document so it meets academic standards.

Here is what I have in mind:
• Regular video or chat sessions where we review my progress, tackle technical questions, and map out next steps.
• Guidance on modelling and analysis techniques that suit building structures (for example, workflows in ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or similar), along with help validating assumptions.
• Feedback on calculations, drawings, and write-ups to ensure clarity, accuracy, and proper citation.
• A final run-through of the complete thesis, highlighting any structural, methodological, or presentation gaps before submission.

The time frame is flexible but I aim to deliver the finished thesis in the next 6-7 months, so responsiveness and clear, actionable feedback will be important. If you have a solid background in concrete design and enjoy mentoring students, I would value your support.
