STS Structural provides engineering consultancy services across a range of building sectors, specifically in cold formed steel, steel, modular, and framed construction.
We have had a lot of enquiries regarding tension membrane structures, such as shade sails, cantilever shade structures, and container dome shelters.
The scope of this project is specifically for container dome shelters (as per the attached images). We are looking for an experienced structural designer or an operator of specialist tension membrane structural design software (such as Dlubal RFEM, k3-tent, or similar) to carry out the modelling and stress analysis, and work with the STS Structural team in determining the structural adequacy of the proposed structures under defined wind speeds. Note that any design software will not be provided by STS Structural.
The scope of work can be more clearly defined on expressions of interest by experienced applicants. Please show examples of similar work completed previously.
