G+2 Structural Steel Detailing

I have already laid out the framing scheme for a ground-plus-two structure; what I now need is a full set of fabrication-ready steel details that satisfy our local building code. The scope covers every column, beam, staircase, slab and the small cantilevered areas, with particular attention to the column footings and stair stringers where load paths change.

Your task is to translate the existing schematic drawings into a coordinated package that includes clear connection information and precise reinforcement requirements. For each member you will show plate sizes, bolt grades, weld symbols, bar schedules and any stiffeners or haunches required so that a fabricator can proceed without further clarification. Where members intersect, I expect connection sketches that reference the relevant clause numbers of the local standard; if an alternative is more efficient you’re free to propose it, provided you include the checks.



Deliverables
• GA and shop drawings in DWG and PDF
• Connection details for all beam-to-column, beam-to-beam and stair interfaces
• Reinforcement schedules for footings, slabs and stair flights
• A brief calculation note (PDF) confirming capacity of the critical connections
• Revision clouded updates until the package is accepted by our checker

All work must align with the current local structural steel code; please state which one you will reference when you bid. If you are comfortable working in Tekla Structures, Advance Steel or Revit, mention it—native model files are a plus but not mandatory.
