Structural Review of Existing Structure for Anticipated Construction Loads.
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We have a project that requires a review of an existing structure to ensure that construction equipment placed on the structure will not cause damage.
The equipment that is planned for this project is as follows:
• Track mini-excavator
• Track skid steer loader (2 possibilities-walk behind and ride on)
• Skid steer loader
The attached file “Spec for Equipment” provides the estimated weight of each piece of equipment.

Here are the key that need to be considered for this evaluation:
• calculations need to be signed and sealed by a registered professional engineer in DC.
• According to Drawing C-02, Reservoir loading note 2, the loading shall not exceed 275psf. This is 2ft of soil and 35psf live load.
• The column spacing is 16ft each way per Drawing S-03.
• The allowable live load is 35psf x 16ft x 16ft = 8,960 pounds
• Drawing C-02 has the notes loading limitations
• Spec 01 14 00 section 1.3.2 gives more information
