Structural Plans for 2 Bedroom Extension

I’m adding a 2 modest bedroom onto my existing cabin and need a licensed structural engineer to turn my architect’s concept sketches into stamped construction documents. The job is a straightforward room extension—no garage or porch involved—but I still require full structural calculations to satisfy local code and obtain the permit.

Scope of work
You’ll review the current house drawings (single-story wood frame), analyze loads for the new footings, walls, and roof tie-ins, and deliver clear plans my contractor can follow. The city wants engineered framing specs, beam sizes, connection details, and any shear/bracing notes. Soil reports and a basic site plan are ready for reference.

Timeline
Permit submission is scheduled for four weeks from today, so I need the sealed drawings, calculation package, and a brief revision window well before that deadline.

Deliverables
• PDF and DWG structural sheets (foundation, framing, roof)
• Signed and sealed calculation report
• One round of minor revisions after plan-checker comments

I’ve already had the drawings made per the IRC code. Then found out the county requires an engineer stamp on the plans. So really just need them checked reviewed and a Colorado licensed engineer to stamp them.
