Structural Engineer Needed for Industrial Building Assessment
Budget: £1,500 – £3,000 GBP
I'm seeking a qualified structural engineer to evaluate an existent industrial crane building with tapered plated members. The assessment should focus on the load-bearing capacity and overall stability of the structure.
The output would be a full set of structural calculations for members and connections ready for building control inspectors. It would also be required to design any aditional strengthening to connections or members or aditional members to be added to make the building safe and conform.
I have a partial set of existing structural drawings for the building attached. We will survey any missing information and provide this.
Key Requirements:
- Expertise in structural engineering, specifically with industrial buildings.
- Experience working with tapered plated members of varying flange and web thicknesses.
- Ability to assess load-bearing capacity and overall stability.
- Familiarity with Irish building standards and regulations.
