Structural Drawings for Solar Array
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m finalising a ground-mounted solar array and now need a complete set of structural engineering drawings to submit for permitting and construction. The focus is strictly on the structural package.
Scope
• Foundation details showing footing dimensions, rebar schedules, and concrete specifications.
• Rack and mounting system layouts with member sizing, material call-outs, and connection details.
• Wind and snow load calculations that clearly reference the governing design values and safety factors.
Compliance
All work must satisfy both our local building codes and the relevant industry standards such as NEC and IEC. Please reference the exact code sections you use in your calcs and notes.
Deliverables
1. Signed PDF drawing set ready for permit submission.
2. Native CAD files (DWG or equivalent) for future edits.
3. Calculation package in PDF, including load diagrams and assumptions.
I’ll supply site data, geotechnical information, and the module layout as soon as we start. If you hold a professional engineering licence that can be stamped in my jurisdiction, let me know—otherwise an unstamped set is acceptable for now. Clarity, accuracy, and quick turnaround are priorities.
