BIVOXO (https://bivoxo.com/) is building advanced benchmarking tests to push the limits of AI coding agents like ChatGPT and Claude. Currently, AI can easily solve basic engineering math. Our goal is to create highly complex, scientifically accurate engineering problems that force AI models to use genuine engineering judgment rather than basic algebra.

We are looking for a structural engineering expert to design these tricky, realistic engineering problems.

Important Note: You do not need to know how to code, build AI, or work with software environments like Docker. Your role is strictly focused on your domain expertise (mechanics of materials, statics, structural analysis). Our technical team will handle all the Python coding and AI testing.

What You Will Do:

Design a specific structural engineering problem (e.g., optimizing a truss under specific load envelopes, calculating Euler buckling limits, or solving for indeterminate structures).

Provide the "Oracle Solution": the step-by-step, 100% correct mathematical derivation and the final numerical answers.

Introduce realistic constraints or edge cases that would trick a naive automated system (e.g., ensuring a system fails due to buckling before it yields to stress).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Advanced Structural Analysis: Deep understanding of load distribution, structural elements, and internal force calculations.

Indeterminate Structures: Ability to calculate statically indeterminate structures where basic equilibrium equations are insufficient.

Failure Modes & Buckling: Strong grasp of constraints that trick basic automated systems, such as Euler buckling limits and geometric nonlinearity.

Mathematical Precision: Ability to write clean, 100% accurate, step-by-step mathematical derivations without relying entirely on black-box software solvers.

Deliverables Required:
A clear text document or PDF containing:

The problem statement and physical constraints.

The required engineering formulas.

The step-by-step mathematical calculation.

The final, perfectly accurate numerical output for the test cases.

Compensation:

₹10,000 flat rate per approved task.

We have multiple tasks available. If your first problem is successful and accurate, this will transition into an ongoing freelance relationship.
