Facade Structural Engineer Required – Structural Calculations & Reports
I am looking for an experienced Facade Structural Engineer to carry out structural calculations and design verification for façade systems for ongoing and future projects.
Scope of Work
Structural calculations and design checks for:
Curtain Wall (stick / semi-unitized / unitized)
Skylight systems
Glass canopies
Slanted / inclined façade elements
Wind load, dead load, live load calculations
Glass thickness verification (laminated, DGU, heat-strengthened, tempered)
Mullion, transom, bracket, anchor and connection design checks
Support steel / aluminium member calculations (as applicable)
Deflection and serviceability checks
Preparation of calculation report suitable for consultant / authority submission
Standards & Codes
Must be familiar with international codes, such as:
Eurocode / BS / AS / ASTM (or equivalent)
Ability to follow project-specific design criteria
Deliverables
Detailed structural calculation report (PDF)
Design assumptions and load calculations
Member and connection check summary
Revisions based on consultant / architect comments (limited rounds)

Shop drawings (if available)
Project design criteria
Site information and photographs
Experience Required
Minimum 5+ years in façade structural engineering
Previous experience in Curtain Wall, Skylight & Canopy projects
Ability to work independently and coordinate remotely
Software Preference
STAAD / SAP2000 / ETABS / RFEM or equivalent
