Stamped Virginia Deck Permit Drawings

I need a Virginia-licensed professional engineer to create and stamp a complete permit-ready drawing set for a small residential wood deck at my Richmond home. There is no existing design to tweak—I’m starting from scratch and need you to handle the full structural layout, code checks, and details that Henrico/Richmond permitting staff require.

Because the drawings are for direct submission, accuracy and compliance with the current Virginia Residential Code and any local amendments are critical. The deck will be built in wood, so footing sizes, post spacing, beam and joist schedules, ledger attachment, guard/handrail details, and connection hardware all need to reflect that material choice.

Deliverables
• Signed and sealed PDF plan set suitable for electronic permit upload (foundation plan, framing plan, elevations/sections, connection details, and general notes)
• Any supporting structural calculations or span tables required by the reviewer
• One revision cycle included to address potential plan-review comments
