Staircase Structural Engineering Calculation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have existing shop drawings for stairs I'm installing and I need an engineer to check that the fasteners I'm using will function correctly under the required load. Everything is built so you are tasked with confirming as built will work. Attached are the drawings of the stairs, and also attached are the fasteners we used.
You attached fasteners were used at the top plate, the beam that connects between left and right wall, and floor plate. In total there are 16 of these fasteners installed. As you can see from the detailed shop drawings, the rest of the bolts are pre-machined and screw into the stair itself.
I need for this to include calculations so I can turn it into the city for review by plan reviewers. All of the welds are explained on the attached document so this should be all the information you need, please ask questions for clarification.
