Solar Design Review Engineer – 6 MW Utility Scale Solar Project (India)
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
We are looking for an experienced Solar Design Engineer to independently review and validate the engineering and design package prepared by our design consultant for a 6 MW AC grid-connected solar power project under HESCOM (Karnataka).
Scope of Work:
Review overall plant layout and optimization.
Verify DC and AC system design.
Review string sizing and inverter loading.
Check module layout and AC/DC ratio.
Review cable sizing, voltage drop and routing.
Verify earthing and lightning protection design.
Review SCADA and communication architecture.
Review structural and mounting system drawings.
Verify single line diagrams (SLDs).
Review protection philosophy and equipment selection.
Review 11 kV evacuation system, switchyard and interconnection design.
Review civil layouts including internal roads, drainage and fencing.
Identify design deficiencies, optimization opportunities and compliance issues.
Provide a detailed review report with comments and recommendations.
Preferred Experience:
5+ years in utility-scale solar EPC engineering.
Experience with projects of 5 MW or above.
Familiarity with Indian standards (CEA, IS, IEC) and DISCOM/TRANSCO requirements.
Experience reviewing designs prepared by third-party consultants.
The engagement is purely for an independent technical review to ensure the design is technically sound, optimized and suitable for construction.
