Sliding Lead Doors Static Analysis
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have two double-leaf automatic sliding doors in my current project that must be drawn and checked for structural soundness by tomorrow, 12:00. The first door measures 5 200 mm × 5 600 mm and carries a 100 mm lead core; the second is 4 200 mm × 4 600 mm with a 20 mm lead core. Both are to be fabricated in steel, so I need a reliable load-bearing capacity study that reflects the extra weight of the lead infill.
SAP2000 is my first choice for modeling and calculation, yet I am open to another mature CAD/FEA environment if you already have a template that speeds things up. What matters is that the geometry is reproduced accurately and that the static calculations clearly prove the doors’ ability to support their own weight while operating on their rails.
Deliverables I expect before the deadline:
• Native project file (SAP2000 *.sdb or equivalent) and exported CAD drawing
• A concise static report showing modelling assumptions, load combinations, and the resulting stresses/deflections focused on load-bearing capacity
• PDF printouts or screenshots that illustrate your model setup for quick review
