Single-Family Structural Permit Drawings
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m preparing the documents for a new single-family house and need a licensed structural engineer who can turn my architectural plans into a full, permit-ready structural set. The scope covers every critical element the building department will inspect: the foundation, the complete framing system, and the roof structure.
You’ll review the current architectural files (PDF and DWG), apply the applicable local and IBC/IRC codes, and produce stamped drawings ready for immediate submission. I work in AutoCAD but I’m happy to receive Revit or equivalent BIM exports alongside the final PDF set if that’s your preferred workflow.
Deliverables
• Foundation plan with sections, footing details, and schedules
• Framing plans and schedules for floor and walls, including beam/joist specs
• Roof framing plan with all connection details and uplift calculations
• Structural notes, load calculations, and engineer’s stamp in my jurisdiction
I’ll provide architectural drawings, soil report, and any city checklists the moment we start. All I ask is clear turnaround milestones, open communication if assumptions are needed, and drawings that pass first-round review. Let’s get this house moving toward the permit counter.
