Single-Family House Structural Design

I’m starting a ground-up build of a single-family home and need a qualified professional who can take the project from blank page to build-ready paperwork. Nothing has been drafted yet, so the first step will be to shape a complete architectural concept that fits standard residential codes. From there, I’ll rely on you for full structural analysis, sizing all key elements—foundation, framing, roof, lateral systems—and confirming they meet local wind, seismic, and load requirements.

Once the calculations check out, I’ll need a full set of construction blueprints: floor plans, elevations, sections, framing layouts, schedules, and detailed connection notes ready for permit submission. I work best when everything is neatly packaged, so please plan to deliver both editable CAD/BIM files (AutoCAD or Revit preferred) and a final PDF set.

Acceptance criteria
• Signed structural calculations report covering gravity and lateral loads
• Complete architectural and structural drawings suitable for city review
• Model files and PDFs delivered in an organized folder structure
• One revision cycle after the first city comments, included in the scope

If you regularly use tools such as ETABS, SAP2000, or STAAD and can stamp drawings for permit (or coordinate with a PE who can), let me know in your proposal along with a brief outline of your typical timeline.
