My project must achieve C1/C2 seismic compliance under SA 5216:2021, and I need a qualified structural designer to take it from a blank sheet to a signed-off certificate. No existing drawings or calculations are available, so you will be producing brand-new structural plans, running the full seismic analysis, and issuing the formal statement of compliance I can lodge with the regulator.
You will decide the exact structural scheme—frame, foundations, retaining elements, connections, anything the standard requires—carry out the modelling and hand calculations, and document every assumption so the approval process is straightforward. Familiarity with Australian seismic provisions and tools such as ETABS, SAP2000 or equivalent finite-element software will be essential, and I expect clear communication if any site data or clarifications are needed.
