I need an experienced structural engineer to turn my architectural concept for a new residential building into a permit-ready structural drawing set.
Scope
• Create full structural plans in AutoCAD—foundation, columns, beams, slabs, roof framing, schedules, general notes, and typical details.
• Run the structural analysis and clearly show design loads, load paths, and member sizes.
• Summarise calculations in an organised report (Word or Excel) that references the drawings.
What I’ll provide
• Architectural floor plans, elevations, and site information.
• Local code requirements and any municipal checklists.
What I expect back
• Editable DWG files plus print-ready PDFs.
• Calculation package stamped “Preliminary” (I’ll handle the final engineer-of-record stamp).
• A brief hand-over call or video meeting to walk through key assumptions and answer questions.
Proficiency with AutoCAD is essential, and comfort working with typical Microsoft Office tools will help when compiling the report. If you have 15+ years of structural design experience—or can demonstrate equivalent expertise—let’s talk.
